Suds Car Wash is an owner-operated business that’s been part of the Evanston community since 1988 — the Green Bay Road location opened its doors in 1998. The owner started washing cars at fourteen, working with his father and brothers at family-owned car washes in Chicago, and Suds carries that tradition on: quality hand washes and detailing at honest prices.
Suds is a member of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and a regular supporter of local school and charity fundraisers.
How long is the wait for a wash?
First-come, first-serve — usually 15–30
minutes. Weekends, holidays, and good weather can run longer.
How long does a detail take?
Anywhere from 1 to 8 hours depending on the
service. Want it same-day? Have the car in by 10am.
What wax do you use?
Primarily Meguiar’s, plus other leading
waxes — and if you have a favorite, bring it in. We recommend
waxing at least twice a year.
How can I pay?
Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, and cash.
